Registration awkwardness - Rhywun - 08-28-2010 I was still playing the demo, enjoying a stroll through Mt. Peril, when I encountered a message reading something like: You have discovered 25% of this mansion. Please buy or quit now!So... I hit the Buybutton, but by the time I finished buying, the game had quit and I lost my progress in Mt. Peril. *I'm* not terribly bothered by re-playing one quarter of a brand-new eagerly-awaited mansion, but I think new players might expect this process to be a little more comfortable! Re: Registration awkwardness - Wingy - 08-28-2010 I believe you can pick up from the last save point. There is one behind a red door which is pretty close to where it cuts it off at 25%. Hope you enjoy the rest of the game! Re: Registration awkwardness - brell - 08-28-2010 [movedhere] Game Improvements [move by] brell. No big deal. Re: Registration awkwardness - VernJensen - 09-07-2010 Yeah, I guess this would be hard to avoid in Mt. Peril, because there is so much freedom in this mansion to go wherever you want, in whatever order you want. Re: Registration awkwardness - jacobvann - 09-07-2010 Seems like the game should be nice enough to suspend your progress before quitting, no? Especially if the player is getting ready to make a purchase! |
