I have been testing a few old custom mansions in the HD. Sometimes, when a key should be a secret, the glowing gives the secret away. My suggestion is that when the HD level builder is released the glowing of keys will be optional.

I personally vote for the continuation of key glows— the game just made one secret type easier to find and another (cracked tile fringe) significantly harder. I'd say it's a tradeoff.

Please don't get me wrong. I am not asking Vern to eliminate the glowing. I am asking him to give builders the option for each key whether it glows or not with glowing being the default option. As I said in my first post, if the glowing is not optional it will be rather hard for custom mansion builders to hide keys.
Of course I am talking about the HD mansion builder when it will be released.

Yeah, I'd like to do that. But the HD builder will take a while to port... probably over 6 months down the road.

Oh boy. I don't have a registration for Midnight Mansion, so the non-HD level editor is locked to me... I may have to put my grandiose custom mansion designs on hold
