From Newbie to Lost One - Freddy - 02-13-2007
The adding of fake posts like in earlier days isn't needed anymore.
When you receive a message from a Newbie including a clear MM-issue, you can promote him/her now immediately to Lost One.
1° Click (anywhere) on that Newbie's name to get the profile-window.
2° In the right upper corner, click on Modify.
3° Enter YOUR password.
4° Click at the right on Admin Edits.
5° Change the number of posts from 0 into 1.
6° Confirm with clicking on Change Profile.
When finished, you only need to send a message back that the promotion is a fact and that he/she is able to make post(s) on the boards.

I'm guessing I should ask him a simple MM question, such as... who is the main character of the game, or what happens when a creature touches you; simple questions that would define if they were in fact a okay to be on the forums. Sound good?

I dont't think so. We haven't done that. But if you think there is something suspicious about him we can monitor him for a while.

Alright, I'll promote him, but for the first week we should keep an eye on him. Just in case.
