How do I make image capture?

Question:How can I make an image capture of a plain screen room, just for relating about a stuck Jack in an Included Mansion (in 1.1.4)? I have an app. called "CAPTURE" but can't use it while I play the game...Thx

Mac has the following options:command + shift + 4 drag-select desire part of screencommand + shift + 3 grabs the whole screen

Thank you Rose for answering...I knew this fonction and use it with my MacPro, but can't make it work with my Powerbook G4, where MM is installed. Even if I lock number keys. How can I do it with a desktop comp?

It shouldn't matter which model of Mac you use.
