I've been asking myself the same question for a couple of weeks now....  There's not a single post from Mikee where it doesn't say xD and hehe !    

Maybe that's some type of kid's SMS-lingo, or something ??

Here, in NA (North America!   LOL) we use the term

Texting

for SMS, when using a cell/mobile to type messages with letters and words.

xD is a typed emoticon/smilie, if turned sideways, looks like squeezed eyes and an open, laughing mouth, to show happiness, laughter, bewilderment or sarcasm.

There, I have learned something for today, so you cannot say

you can't teach an old dog new tricks!
