I suppose this is true, but let's face it - there are lots of custom mansions out there that probably don't get the scrutiny of a typical in-game mansion. Even with all the attention, it's still possible for occasional accidents to slip through. The mansions for MM2 got *lots* of testing, and you might be surprised at the detailed inspections I gave all the original mansions in MM HD before beta fixing lots of small things. Yet, small things still occasionally turn up.
I think the benefit outweighs any downside. It's not as though it would be prominently displayed on the dialog that is shown when the game is paused.
As an alternative, I suppose you could make it so that when you suspended/resumed the game, Jack would be moved back to the entrance of the room where he entered.
That would make me a little sad, though... I would lose a fantastic
speed-runtool, and I'd miss it.

Update Another option: a new
cheat codethat can be entered when the game is paused. A bit more obscure to use. I'd probably use something like this the most while testing, when I'm deliberately doing my best to get Jack stuck. Arguably, this could be better since it would be more difficult to accidentally invoke it.
