Screen gets clipped in "stretch" mode

I've noticed that when I choose the

full screen

and

stretch

options, after I move around a few rooms, sometimes an inch or two gets clipped off the left and right sides of the view. I can still see Jack moving from room to room, but the walls and floor are gone.
