Now that I am able to convert MM1 custom mansions to HD I am more carefully 'studying' the glowing effect of coins, keys, lantern, neon platforms ... and lava. Lava seems to show a rectangle glow, 2 tiles high right above the lava.
I add two versions of the starting room from The Bat House. I prefer the b-version where the glow stays between the bricks. But I am interested in the opinion of others.
