That error message indicates that something is seriously wrong with your mansion file. I'd look for another way to transfer the files from your old Mac to the new one, like maybe archive them first, or try emailing them, or using StuffIt to stuff them... hopefully one of those will allow you to transfer them without them getting corrupted in the process.

Get infoon the mansion files before and after moving them, to compare file sizes, and see if the entire file got transfered.
