I just wanted to thank all of you who are loyal fans of the game for your support. A number of you went ahead and purchased both Episode 1 *and* Episode 2, just to support me. That really means a lot!

Currently Midnight Mansion HD is being

featured

on the Mac App Store thanks to your kind reviews of the game, and the sales that you have driven to the Mac App Store so far. This will help to gain new customers, and also will likely give me enough money to survive several more months so I can complete the Windows and iPad versions of the game.

Sales of all ActionSoft games combined this past year have been extremely low, and I was getting to the point where, if Midnight Mansion HD didn't sell well on the Mac App Store, I might have been forced to stop development and get a

real job.

I'm glad it looks like I'll be able to continue, to see how the Windows and iPad versions do, and also do a spin-off game for iPad that I think has *really good* potential to be a hit.

So thank you for giving me the opportunity! I'm so grateful to have fans who are so loyal to my little game and so enthusiastic to support it and me!

Hi Vern - I tried to leave a review on the app store, but it won't let me - even though I bought it from the app store, it is telling me that I haven't.  See attached pic.  Do you let Apple know about this?

Hmmm, I'd look on the store for Customer Support. Not sure where they've hidden it, but I'm sure there's a way to contact them about this. You'd have to ask them about it. I'd understand if you didn't want to go through the hassle, but if you do, I'd certainly appreciate it!

Hi Vern: it is a problem with the Mac App Store Site - this is response (took me 3 days and 5 email conversations) from Apple:

'Thank you for reporting this issue. A number of our customers are experiencing a similar problem. Apple is currently working toward a resolution for the issue you have reported. Unfortunately I am unable to offer a timeframe as to when this issue will be resolved. I highly recommend you keep your Mac updated incase we release a newer patch for the Mac App Store.'
