Title: Midnight Pyramid Post by Wingy on 23.12.2006 at 08:16:39
I'm making a new mansion called Midnight Pyramid. :) Jack will explore King Tut's tomb and get all the in his treasure in the Pyramid! ;D
Sadly, no screenshots yet. I think I'll be done it about half way through January. Warning: There are lots of scorpians in this Pyramid, and if you go near king Tut's tomb without a sheild, you'll get Mummified! ;) P.S. I think you're wondering who "Ted" is in my avatar, and now I'll tell you. He's my main character of my Comics I make. :) I did make pixel movies about him, but not anymore. They were at www.antsarts.go.to, but the server was stolen! >:( So if you go there now, nothing will happen and you'll be brought to a different site. |

Looking forward to your "pyramid". I suppose there is no lava over there. Thus no low version needed. ;)

Finally I've gotten around to take a screenshot of my mansion! Since my computer with my mansion and all my stuff was er... out of use for awhile, I couldn't! :)
Here you are! As you can see, its not done. It looks like a real pyramid with all that stone! |

Wow, Wingy, can't wait to see that one.
The huge pyramid looks "mysteriously inviting"..... (Anything inside of it ?). I liked Volcanis a lot, BTW, and had never any trouble with the lava there.... |
Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by Wingy on 30.12.2006 at 20:03:48
@Rose: Still about 10 more rooms to do. Its going to be a medium sized mansion, with normal diffuculty. I'll finish it today and up tomarrow! :)
@aquaMat: There's nothing in it in that screenshot, but since i worked on it, there's lots! ;) |

I am jealous about your building inspiration AND energy! [smiley=happy.gif]
EDIT: when your mansion is ready, remove Preview PICTs, make a zip-file ans send it to Brell and me. The first one who stops celebrating New Year will launch it. 8-) (Sunglasses to cover the oncoming small and tired eyes.) |

@Wingy:
Last night I started playing Midnight Pyramid..... great design....!! But I couldn't even survive until the 1st save pedestal, though I don't know if it's too long until the 1st pedestal arrives, or if I was just a bit 'un-focused' (concentration-wise) 8-). However, I'm looking forward to play it again today.... Have fun in that winter camp you're going to.... |

[smiley=bath.gif] Take a bath before you risk your life in the dry desert!
Well, Wingy's newest one Midnight Pyramid is now downloadable from the List of Completed Mansions. There is a brown blackboard at the beginning of MP that says something about the difficulty-degree. Never believe what a designer says about his own mansions. ;) |

@aquaMat: There's no save pedestals in this mansion! (Just to make it more challanging!) Last week, before I went to that camp, I beat Midnight Pyramids for the first time, (After I completed it) And did it in 12 minutes! I forget how much $ I got though... I wonder if anyone can beat 12 minutes! ;) Wingy |

Wingy, welcome back !!! Yeah, in the meantime I have realised that MidPyr doesn't have any save pedestals...... ....but the only I thing I will manage within 12 minutes in the pyramid...is dying ;D |

Hi!
First time through on 11:06 but only 20% secrets. Second time was on 13:08 and 80% secrets. And I thought there weren't any secrets in this mansion! |
Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by Wingy on 06.01.2007 at 22:20:33
Well I did it with 100% secrets. Can you find them all and get 11 minutes? :o

Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by rose on 06.01.2007 at 22:32:01
If I set my mind to it!

Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by ryos on 20.01.2007 at 01:07:47
Am I the only one who can't see any way to even get into the pyramid? The obvious entrance leads only to a dead dropoff with no way past.

Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by rose on 20.01.2007 at 01:22:52
Hi ryos!
Just walk right out in the air. No jumping! |
Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by ryos on 20.01.2007 at 02:43:14
Oh. Silly me. Always trying to control my destiny. Wingy, you should put a sign with an Indiana Jones reference. "...Only in the leap from the lion's head will he prove his worth.""
11:49 w/60% secrets. |
Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by Wingy on 20.01.2007 at 04:59:23
So nobodys beaten my all-time record? 11:00 minutes and 100% secrets?
|
Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by Freddy on 20.01.2007 at 06:16:39
Not so fast. Not so fast.
Maybe I am that fast. Maybe I am faster? 8-) There are so many mansions ... especially from ... Wingy! I am still jumping in the lava from Volcanis. That is why I couldn't even start your pyramid. What was your best time in MMaM? With 100 % secrets? ;) ;D |
Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by Wingy on 21.01.2007 at 01:09:16
To tell you the truth, Freddy, I only got about 25% of MMaM done then I gave up! :'( Didnt get that many secrets, but beat a maze or two. ;)

Title: Re: Midnight Pyramid Post by Freddy on 21.01.2007 at 19:41:37
Don't cry for me, Canada! MMaM is a mansion to do in shifts. It is far too large to do on a lazy afternoon. Or between lunchtime. There are saving points enough to stop and restart later.
Back to your Midnight Pyramid! Soon I will visit this mansion and let you know how "slowly" I was. And if you like running, try Happy Hannukah. About a year ago there was a speedrun competition. I remember very well that there were several players who beated HH in less than 2 minutes. My best time was ... euh ... over 7 minutes. |
