After I had finally mastered Orpheus, I went back to Infernal Runner...and tried that again.
And I did get until the third room, with the save pedestal....but how on earth, after saving, am I supposed to get out between those two zapper beams ???

(Maybe this has been discussed already, I don't know....)

BTW, I never understood why Orpheus and Infernal Runner have 2 different names..... why isn't Infernal Runner just called "Orpheus Very Hard" or something....??

Then actually "Orpheus" should be called "Infernal Runner Normal" or something  :P

My first idea was to include many spots where Jack would have to be on the move constantly, a bit like Chase the 'Bots. Obviously I never did it  ;D Also, it is a reference to an old 'pooter game which was very cruel to its main character. Putting Orpheus for the official mansion was a way to say that the difficulty is more "tame". And I don't want to use the same name for an official mansion and an alternative one. Not to mention that it wasn't intended to become an official mansion at the start (until Freddy convinced me). Um, I didn't realise there were so many reasons for the two names! All bad reasons which end up in confusing the players! ::)

I don't believe the Zapper Beams trick has been discussed yet. It is very, very, very mean [smiley=evil.gif].

If I may add something to it. The inevitable death in the beginning and that "very very very mean" trick between the zappers were almost sure the reasons that Toybox did release this experiment at FU&D.

And only after I convinced him to make a "mansion" of it, those two things were indeed gone. But the replacement of the zappers may count as well! Not evident at all to finish Orpheus with 7 lives left.

Oh yes. That zapper beam problem, for once there is a question which is surely about Infernal Runner. It reminds me of the clue in the Ultimate Maze of MMaM. Stunning simple. You only have to see it.

I sometimes wonder what would happen if Toybox and I should make a mansion together ...

I have more trouble passing room number 5 actually.

It is easiest when you enter room 5 from above, not from below (at the coins from room 4). Then there is plenty of space. 8-)
