Hi !

Thanks for playing Mind Mines !

To help you I need to know a couple of things:
1. Where are you in room #16906 ?  (On the left side, or the right side?)
2. What have you done before ?

>>In case you went there before you had completed certain earlier sections you might be irritated.... but certainly you can't get stuck (in A JS sense of the word)..... to give a hint: some element of the right half of room 16906 might not be working until you have visited the left side of that same room (which is accessed from an altogether different area in the mines).

However, you certainly must always have the possibility to return, and first complete the left part.

Hi aquaMat,
Thank you for the response. To answer your question, I have entered the room (#16906) from above, climbing down from the "secret ladder" from the room directly above it. Jack is standing on the small suspended green platform (or stone) that, when initially he landed on it, triggered a back-and-forth moving platform (stone0 closer to the floor level.

Your suspicion is correct: i have not yet been to the left side of the room - the above mentioned ladder is the only way to date that I have discovered to get down to this present "layer" that 16906 is part of - so, you are saying that there's another way down, so i can *get to* that room's left side? Guess i'll have to find it!

Thanks for your help.
Best regards,
DLC

Hi again Aquamat,

I forget to answer your second question "what have you done before?"

Room 16906 is at a certain "layer" (or stratosphere). Above room 16906 is a room that is, shall we say, a part of another layer above it (going laterally to the left, this layer I speak of would also include the game's 1st "Save", which I have used). Above THAT layer is a layer that I presume spans the entire width (L to R) of the game - THIS layer would include about six windows (sorry, i did not keep track of all the window nos.!). I have been through the game up to this point.

Hope this helps. Thank you.

You did everything correctly, no problem.

I didn't expect ALL players to find the left side of room # 16906 before they find the right side, and normally it shouldn't really matter.
Say you came down the ladder and found out you couldn't proceed further down, you immediately see that there's something else going on at the left side: so just return up the ladder and upstairs head to the left..... somewhere there you will find a "connection" to the lower area.....

(I don't want to spoil it for you, that's why I'm beating around the bush....)  8-)

Have fun !   :)

Ha, AquaMat! Ha! I found it - how clever! i found the hidden "gateway to the area to the right (a couple of panes) of the 1st save. Quite clever, I say.
I found this castle to be thoroughly enjoyable - my Kudos to the author!  :D
thank you for your help, maestro!
