Post by Leon on 08.01.2008 at 03:02:05
All Brits come here to talk about Doctor who but try and not spoil the next series to much (when I say brits I mean the British and anyone who knows about Doctor Who).

I have a strange feeling that you may be alone in Briton... :o but I think Sam skeleton might be U.K... I dunno. What's Doctor Who anyways?

It's shown here, too, on BBC America. I don't watch it, though.

Yeah, I wish I was in the U.K., but I will have to wait until I'm older...

For Doctor Who, I could refer you to h2g2, which seems to be full of fans (quite frustratingly, I should say). You could start at:

and work up your way from there.

It seems a very nice series. For the record, Douglas Adams (of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy fame) wrote some episodes long ago. I don't understand why itis not more widely exported...

(It used to be played in Greece, apparently.)

Doctor Who.

Maybe we should switch to Star Trek? I think they got more internationally shown. I love The Next Generation  8-)

Actually, I have never seen a Star Trek movie at all  :'(

I tried to go and see the latest (Nemesis), there were posters all over the city but it never played ::) How silly is that?

I borrowed the whole Next Generation on DVD, watched a few Classics on TV when they were on, and I'm not even sure I saw any Deep Space Nine or Voyager.

Indeed!  And here in the USA, there was a new trailer for the movie (which you can watch on YouTube if you want) that showed before the move Cloverfield.  It is going to star a young Captan Kirk and the rest of the crew before the original TV series.  While there will of course being new actors in all the roles, the rumor is that Leonard Nimoy will play an older version of Spock, possibly visiting his past self through some kind of time wormhole.

I'm not a HUGE fan of Star Trek, but I do like it and will watch it when it is on.  But then again, I have no TV at home (I only watch DVDs and movies) so it is never on. :-)
