Title: Rm 16098 Help
Post by Jackie on 20.11.2008 at 12:11:21
I'm in the wall in Rm. 16098 and have been jumping around frantically for some time; going up and coming back down.  I know there is some kind of switch in there to let me go down into the library but darned if I can find it. Help?  :'(

Thanks, Olle. Saw the error of my ways and made it through.  Nice little mansion, Olle's gf.  We hope you will continue building additional castles for Jack to explore.   ;)

I am (not) stuck in the same room. I see the ladders but don't know how to get to them. A bit more of a hint please?

Thanks, fun mansion
Nancy

Strange, that so many players seem to have problems in "Midnight Castle".... ?!?   :o    :-/    :-?

When it was released I played it once, got through rather quickly, without real problems, but ending only with something like 84 % secrets or so, and apparently not all money collected.

I replayed it yesterday, with about the same result......  and I now know that the reason for that is mainly one  "secret portion" that I missed both times.

But I never got stuck somewhere, or missed one or more keys or anything like that.

I think it's a nice mansion, except for a few smaller issues (like "un-terminated" vines etc.) and a few cheap deaths.

Ha! Easy for you to say, I'm still trying to figure out room 16098, or how to get the red key in the room next door. In other words, how to proceed from that place. I can't figure another way to go. I must be missing something obvious!

Greetings,
I guess I too am "dense". I've bantered between rooms 16098 and 16099, found the hidden ladders, picked up a shield in 16099, and went to 16098, found the hidden "vine", the shield saved Jack from the red bird, which flew into a hole (presume that's a hint?), but darned if I can jump out.
Help please!
Thanks!

There is more than money and a shield in the wall of 16099.  Keep exploring.   ::)
