Title: Doctor Tronic returns
Post by Psychotronic on 07.09.2010 at 04:07:42
Hi, everybody. I still exist and stuff. I got that shiny email in my inbox saying telling me about Midnight Mansion 2, and I realized how much I missed Jack Malone and all his flesh-and-blood pals. I can't actually play MM2 right now, but I should have a new working Mac soon enough, and then WATCH OUT, SKULL SPIDERS. Your treasure is MINE.

I've also signed on with Vern to design a few mansions for future releases of Midnight Mansion. I'm very excited about it. I have quite a few mansion-less months to make up for.

I'm sure I'll have more to say once I've played MM2 a bit and caught up with things. There also seem to be about 50 new custom mansions to look at when I have the time. Yeesh. Recommend me some good ones, peeps. It's too overwhelming.

Nice to have you back, sir.  Got tired of the M$ windows world?
8-)

Awesome. :D

I was just thinking about how cool it'd be to see a mansion from you in MM2. I'd love to see a Dr Tronic's Zoo in the new game... That may be my favorite custom mansion from the old game!

In the final level of MM2, Jasperlone Mountains (on normal and hard only, I believe) there is actually a statue dedicated to Dr. Tronic-- in the secret halls of lost knowledge, or something like that. :P

Nice to see you're still alive, Psychotronic. ;)

And Jack has missed you too, good sir.  Welcome back!   ;)

Hello and glad to see you here. I've enjoyed playing your mansions.

I'm sure all of us designers would gladly recommend our own mansions.  ;)  (Of mine, I'd recommend Mini Ore Mine and Cheetah Castle) Of course you need to play the latest Catacombs. I've enjoyed all of Veronika's mansions. It's hard to really choose a few out of that many choices. So just play them all!  ;D

You should design some pinball tables with FuturePinball, Tronic.

I'm planning to do that--starting small and imagining a conversion kit that would turn an F-14 Tomcat into a Princess Bride themed table, then once that's complete I'll be making a run at an all-originally designed Scott Pilgrim themed table.
