A brief history of the game
At first there was Midnight Mansion, now often called MM1. This game package was for Mac only and contained 8 mansions, each on easy, normal and hard level. Above that there was a builder included, so that customers could design mansions themselves.
Then there was Midnight Mansion HD, now abbreviated as MM1 HD for both Mac and Windows. It contained the 3x8 mansions from MM1 plus 3x a bonus mansion: Tomb of Princes. All in high definition!
Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills, includes 28 mansions with a lot of new features. The 8 built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. Yes indeed, the MM2 package also has an included builder to create mansions!

Custom mansions

In the past decades several customers started experimenting with the builders. Creating rooms. Talking about it on the Midnight Mansion Forums. Sending their own designed mansions to other board members to test them. And finally sending them to the administrators of MMF.
Result? Nearly 200 extra mansions are downloadable from these boards and some of them have over 100 rooms.
If you like to download custom mansions, go to the General Custom Mansions Area (Mac and Windows) where you find the lists with all the download spots.

I am jealous about your building inspiration AND energy! Smiley

EDIT: when your mansion is ready, remove Preview PICTs, make a zip-file ans send it to Brell and me. The first one who stops celebrating New Year will launch it. Cool (Sunglasses to cover the oncoming small and tired eyes.)

@Wingy:
Last night I started playing Midnight Pyramid..... great design....!!
But I couldn't even survive until the 1st save pedestal, though I don't know if it's too long until the 1st pedestal arrives, or if I was just a bit 'un-focused' (concentration-wise) Cool.

However, I'm looking forward to play it again today....

Have fun in that winter camp you're going to....

Smiley Take a bath before you risk your life in the dry desert!

Well, Wingy's newest one
Midnight Pyramid
is now downloadable from the List of Completed Mansions. There is a brown blackboard at the beginning of MP that says something about the difficulty-degree. Never believe what a designer says about his own mansions. Wink

@aquaMat:
There's no save pedestals in this mansion! (Just to make it more challanging!)

Last week, before I went to that camp, I beat Midnight Pyramids for the first time, (After I completed it) And did it in 12 minutes! I forget how much $ I got though... I wonder if anyone can beat 12 minutes!  Wink

Hi!
First time through on 11:06 but only 20% secrets. Second time was on 13:08 and 80% secrets. And I thought there weren't any secrets in this mansion!

Am I the only one who can't see any way to even get into the pyramid? The obvious entrance leads only to a dead dropoff with no way past.
