Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Little irritating bit

Freddy, I have a suggestion for you:

There is a bit that's slightly irritating, an 'omission' if you will.
Whenever you make a change to the "list of completed mansions" (like adding the latest UD of Catacombs earlier today), you probably just edit/modify the original list (post).

BUT that creates a small problem: I usually look at the date of each thread to determine if there is a new post or a reply etc., which our forum-software always indicates.

However, I just now almost missed the Catacombs UD, because when you look at the date indicator of the thread "List of completed mansions" it looks like nothing has been added there since Dec. 23rd or so.
I guess the reason is, that you simply modify the original list, and apparently the software doesn't register that.

So to the casual observer (of which there are lots I assume), it seems as if there are no new mansions to download.

Of course, for those who read all new posts etc., they usually find it announced there somewhere... but I'm sure we have a lot of visitors who drop by only to download new mansions.

Maybe you could find a way to change the date, whenever you make a change to the "Master list of completed mansions".

Just an idea....  Smiley

Thx for your post. I see what we can do about it.

This forum software has still a lot of secrets for me, so maybe there is a tool somewhere to solve this problem. Or otherwise I have to ... think. Roll Eyes Oh oh.

EDIT:
At the 2 most obvious places (the right forum and the right topic) I announced the date of the last changes. Do you think it helps enough?

Hey Freddy,
I found a little bug about the login thing. I hit "
" when I'm logged out and at the next screen I press "
Home
" and I'm logged in
without
typing any login information!  Huh

It IS possible that there are bugs in the forum software. I made a topic about that somewhere under Announcements. Since I found a bug myself about PMs.

But since I don't understand what you exactly did and did not, it may be interesting to know that when you log out, it takes exactly 3 minutes to be really logged out. So if you return to the site within those 3 minutes you are still logged in.

Today I finally completed the changes of the appendixes of all custom mansions. For that reason I was able to remove all the text-lines about those appendixes in the post with the downloadslist.

When you arrive NOW at the downloadslist, it is immediately clear that since the start of these boards, only 6 mansions are new or got updated.

I hope you will like this improvement as well.
