Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Screen dump

Hi!
How do you manage to do screen dumps of your results in a mansion. When I try I get the start game etc window, just as take the dump. I use Alt - Shift 4 and drag the cursor. I think the window change when I start press on the mouse. Any ideas?

I use the Apple Utility Grab. But I also play in a window instead of full screen, at least at the end of the game.

I always play in a window. Full screen is to big (20") to play in. I have never used Grab. Do I have to start the program before I am at the end of a game?

Yup. I have it running and at the right instance I click on it in the dock. The MM screen freezes and then I do the selection option. When you select that it will throw an annoying dialog box up that you can move but if you're on a 20" then you'll have no issues.

Hope this helps,

It doesn't work. As soon as I click on the dock I get the start window. This is when I try to grab the ending window with my results.

Apple/Shift/4 takes a screen shot no matter what view. It has an annoying habit of stacking icons in the upper right screen. Just go to the Finder window, select all, go to clean-up under View, and they'll neatly restack on your screen. This is how I get screen shots of those diabolic mazes (not mentioning any names, of course!)

That is the key combination I also use but when I want the result window, the one with all money, found secrets in percent etc., change window as soon as I start selecting the window!

My icon don't stack but I guess I have more spave on the Desktop. Smiley

I did this with that combination apple/shift/3 - as I said, though, it messes up your desktop icons, but that's easy to fix
