Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Thanks for the spelling! Did you try Civiliztion yet?  Roll Eyes

Tried it but never finished it.  It is actually possible to get it as an X11 application via Fink.

*sigh* I'm talking about Civ. 1. So what if civ 2 is cool, you have to buy it now! I'm talking about the free classical games! (One or two of these might be stilll shareware, like Farm Patrol)

Sorry about that  Embarrassed My brother installed it on my imac, so I never really knew the origin.

Er... no... that's not normal... and it's not for PC, as far as I know. Why don't you just like... go to a friend who has classic, copy their OS 9 folder onto a CD, and then put it on your computer by copying it into /System/Libary/. Then go play Monkey Island OS 9 version by downloading it off http://mac.the-underdogs.info/
Cool
I did it with my dad's G5 that came with the classic folder.

Then, the sound would work. There's only music and sound effects, no speech. Did you check the menu to make sure Music and Sound were checked off?

I meant Monkey Island, which I used to see as the only reason why anybody would want a PC (then again, I'm quite biased). And I have classic on my laptop! I even use it for work, sometimes  Roll Eyes I'll get the OS9 version then, thanks!

(I'll check the menu as well, just in case.)

Can't believe someone still has a running LC! Mine literally fried itself out.  Cry

Love "Monkey Island".

Also "Glider" - which last time I looked was free and playable in OSX.

For shareware, I adore the games from Spiderweb Software. I've played them all ever since they hit my computer. Wink

Can't remember what other games I played. There was a cool space shooting thing in my screen saver thing from Berkeley software. I taught my boss to play that one.  Grin
