Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Well, I have a working Apple IIc (pre-Mac) since 1983!

Agree with you on the Spiderweb games.

I have ScummVM. The game FAQ said to get it. But it ScummVM wouldn't let me load the game! Indy and the lost crusade game, works fine. It opens a Scumm thing when it starts. Didn't do that for the Atlatis one. So I pressed ALT+Enter to go to find, and pressed show to the Scumm thing for the working game in finder. It was in the package contents, so I used that info to go to the next game, it was similar. So I went to the scumm in the Atlantis one, opened it, it opened termial app. from the Untilites folder. It said libSDL-1.2.0.dylib was missing. Got it from my brother on his intel over the internet. It's still downloading, so there's a 50% chance I'll get it to work.

After along time of working, I got it to work! If anyone els is having this problem, take this .zip file from my server and put the folder unzipped in your hard drive folder. It then should work.

It works just fine when you put this folder that you download into your hard disk folder.  Smiley You didn't have to buy it!  Roll Eyes

I have tried that and it never worked. Got fed up after 2 years and invested a few dollars in the game.

Well, I tried Monkey Island on in Intel iMac from the games at:

http://www.sveinbjorn.org/classic_adventure_games

But I get no music, and very little sound. (I think a door opening/closing was the only sound I got, period.) Is that normal?

Vern, I don't have any sound at all when playing Monkey Island. Can't remember if I had it earlier. I run a G4 PowerPC (also having macos 9.2 for classical games)

Wingy, I still can't start Fate of A. It doesn't matter where I put it.
