Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Spider Mansion - Normal Mode
01.08.2007 at 00:22:54

Hi Gang,
i could use some assistance here.
Of all the levels, I missed this one (Spider mansion in Normal or hard mode).
Simply, is there a lantern somewhere that I missed in the first six wings (the 6 red doors)?

I am now in the last areas (beyond the yellow doors), there are more dark rooms here, and Jack's getting slaughtered! Some light would help!

If I did miss a lantern, please shed some light on where it is (oops, sorry for thr pun!).
Many thanks,
DLC

Hi!

Yes there is a lantern in one of the left-hand sections at the beginning. I won't tell you which one, but it's to the left.

Good luck.
Cool

I have found the lantern, but I can't get it!  As I walk in I can hear that I am stepping on a lever and then the trapdoors shut and I will fall into the lava if I cross, but I have no idea how to follow the gold coins up to the lantern.

Yes, this stumped me in the beginning of my MM days.  Actually, you are stepping on a platform, not a lever.  But there are lever around that you can pull.  You don't see them but they are clearly hinted!

Hi Everyone! I'm glad I came across this posting because I'm stuck in Spider Palace Normal. I've got to room 16703, got the green key, then followed up to the blue area through the electricity, but get stumped about how to get back to the green door. I can't seem to get across the two rolling platforms towards the purple key. Have I missed something really basic, or am I just thick? So far I've worked my way through all the mansions on Easy and Normal, and this is my last one. I've got stuck a few times, but eventually worked my way through it. This one is driving me crazy! Any hints? I'd be very grateful.... Maude ( ripping her hair out in London!) PS: What's this with the 7 and 9 keys? I don't get it....

The 7 and 9 keys on the number keypad allow you to jump further than using the arrow and space bar. And this will come in handy for the area you're needing to cross. I lost a few Jack's when going through that room. Timing of your jumps is important to make the jumps. And using the 7 and 9 keys will help you do it.
