Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

aquaMat, thanks for the info.  I think I'll wait until I get more complaints about the signs.  I never encountered these problems and neither did my testers.

I'm sure you'll find your way back  Wink

Hi Brell,

YAY for the release of TPI! Congratulations!

Now, the bad news: I'm stuck in 31494 (and the "secret" room) with no apparent way out. I can't go back the way I came in, nor are there any other apparent exits. Help?

I really liked Psycotronic's cabin. Nice! This ship is genuinely huge...I still have far to go before I reach the end.

Hehe this rot thing is nice.  I don't why this is happening but it looks similar to the problem aquaMat had in another spot in the mansion.
As for the other problem, read and respect the signs.

° aquaMat:  You should be able to leave the room to the right and there is a (not so long) way back to the pole.  I must check these signs, though.

EDIT:  Has anyone else encountered problem reading signs?

Yes, in room 30698!

Jack also fell between to rooms going from 31494 to 31493! I think he was jumping and landed in a slit or something. Sad

Wow,
brell
....

...this ship is hoge !!!

I keep losing my way. Especially after I had to "finish" the game (okay, I got killed  Cool ), when I resumed it from an earlier save pedestal (say save 3 of 5 I had already made), I usually ended up at an entirely different save pedestal (as save 4) than before.....

And I still haven't figured out how to get back to the upper decks from the lower levels. Up there are enough doors I haven't yet opened.

An amazing thing, brell. Now I know why it took so long to beta-test.....and it must have driven you crazy while building it, I s'ppose.   Wink

I don't understand these problems reading signs.  And ending up on a different save pedestal surely beats me.  As for the rooms you are talking about, Rose, the sign gives you a hint but how you head that hint is delicate.  I will take a better look at that.

Hmm....  perhaps I should play through TPI myself, so far I've only played it in he editor.

brell:

I guess you must have misunderstood me.
With "ending up on a different save pedestal" I meant, when I resume playing from an earlier saveing point (say 3 of 5), my next saving point (No. 4) is not the same save pedestal (4) it was last time...as there are so many options where to go.

I didn't describe a bug or anything like that....just my ability to get lost in that huge ship.
