Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Nancygevans, can you give a description of that room?  I don't have a copy of MM or the mansions, so I need more info to be (hopefully) able to help you.

It is the blue tiled room 2 levels directly above the end of the ladder maze, with a save pedestal. I haven't been able to access the bottom level and go left, which is where a lot of the rooms I haven't been to are. Maybe the access is from the other side of the hidden rooms, earlier in the game? If so, can you tell me where to get in?

Thanks, Nancy

Hi Nancygevans.  Yes, you have to use another entrance to those "hidden" rooms.  From where you are now it is propably best to find your way to the aft of ship and from there go back to the fore.  The way to the "hidden" rooms is through my cabin, but you have to have a certain key with you.

Two notices:
1. When I was building the ship I wanted to have a quick entrance to the "hidden" rooms from the room you are in now, but Freddy, my main beta tester of this mansion, talked me out of it.
2. When I first released TPI the way from the aft back to the bridge area was not included, but I got so many complaints that I decided to change that.

Perhaps, when I can, I will change this back:  a) open the way from the blue room that Nancegevans is in to he "hidden" rooms and b) close again the way from the aft to the bridge since it wnðt be needed any more.

OK I found the way into the hidden rooms but I am lacking the purple key I need there. I figured out it's the one in the right side of the mirrored rooms, but I can't get to it. Please give me a hint how to access the right side of the mirrored rooms.

Thanks, great mansion!

Nancy,

In an earlier post in this thread Brell says:
"1. You cannot go to the right part of 31296."

You need to find the purple key on the left mirror side. Undecided

Thanks! I guess I'm barking up the wrong tree. But I am one purple key short when I go to the hidden rooms. Maybe I'm using them in the wrong order.
