Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Hi

Loox like I'm the first one to post here on this side of the new year.

Found the game while looking for any freeware game for mac, since I'm on xmas holiday at my parents in the woods and nothing to do...
Found MM, and as I recall playing Dark Castle at a friend's back in '90 on a MacPlus and loving it, I just *had* to try this

Sat in my bed and played through the free parts, got up in the middle of the night, went out on my dad's modem, spent the most well-spent 20$ in my life I think [since I'm swedish, I don't spend dollars that often] and played all easy mansions in a row. Not much sleep that night  Roll Eyes

Started on Falcon Normal, but I seemed to miss something since I couldn't visit all of the mansion [didn't notice at first that I hadn't on the Easy one either], tried Nightmare Easy and found out I had the same problem... So I thought I'd better join the forum if it'd be going on like this Cheesy

Even tried to play and watch the mansion builder parallel to the game, trying to see where I'm missing anything but I don't see it... well well I guess there will be answers to all of my questions in time

Oops, didn't mean to post a question here... just thought I'd say hi Cheesy

...and that I'm looking forward to beating all of the included mansions, and then start making my own. I don't think I'll ever need a computer game again [haven't needed one before either Cheesy]

...and welcome myself to the forum  Wink

1° Mmmm. Don't think so. In Nightmare Mansion it is really a matter of playing this mansion so often, till you have find out which doors you don't need to open! To save keys for doors at other places. Pretty tough. Believe me. Cool
2° And between playing the 24 included mansions and starting to design one of your own, you can try to beat all 84 custom mansions?! Wink

Welcome aboard, Olle the Greatest.

1° (nice way of structuring things Smiley ) I have only one &%€#€ bag of gold which I can't reach... I'll try harder, I promise Cheesy
2° of course, I've already downloaded them [even before trying any of the normal original mansions... I thought I'd better have them on my computer in case I get offline for a couple of years]

Time for bed...
...and one more mansion... in that order... [I love having a laptop Cheesy]
