Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

I've started building a mansion and would appreciate some reviews since this is my first attempt at building one. This is a small puzzle area. And I'm going for an easy difficulty. So please help me improve.

Hi Catwoman,

Thanks for jumping in to build a new mansion! You're doing great. Just a couple things. In 18299, at the top right, if Jack goes into the next room on the right and then comes back, he doesn't have time to react to the small brick, and falls to his death. In an easy mansion, that's a cheap death. Also, when you finish your mansion, make sure to put some kind of wall at the borders around the mansion so Jack doesn't try to walk off into infinity (he disappears but never gets anywhere).

I ended up with a red key that didn't seem to go anywhere, but I'm assuming you're still building and it will be used later?

I have all the same remarks:

Almost all "end rooms" are not terminated properly so Jack walks out of the rooms but there's no room he can walk into.
Noticed the cheap death, too....in fact it's so cheap that I died there 3 times.   Wink

And what is the red key for ?

Apart from these minor quibbles:  It's always great to see new designers comin' up!!  Go ahead and build, build, build and very quickly you'll gain the experience and then I'm sure you'll design more wonderful mansions.

And if there's one thing we never have enough of....it's new mansions, obviously !!   Wink

Thanks so much for the input Semi-Native and aquaMat.  Smiley

I will fix the issue with the cheap death and make sure my end rooms are bricked in. Yes, the red key is for later.

This isn't the actual start area. My goal is to have around 80 rooms.

Yay for Catwoman! That's a really good start. I liked how you had to figure out how to get to the yellow door, the obvious path wasn't the solution.

And thanks for doing an EASY mansion! We've got lots of hard ones, so it's nice to have more choices   Smiley

Thanks Josephine.

And I'll admit I didn't know the rooms had to be terminated. Something I had not noticed while playing. Smiley
