Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

That took a while to do, so many game overs... ouch. I had 0 lives left when I entered the winning room.

Was a quite enjoyable (*COUGH*) mansion there AquaMat. This is definitely another Aquamat-styled mansion.

Here where my cons of the mansion:

Many, many... many... deaths occurred from your evil tricks. Most were unfair and really hard to get out of. (E.g. you are holding down your movement key from a room and you fall off a cliff in the next with only 1 tile brick in the next room between you and the cliff) Those have happened to me plenty of times.

Rooms with things such as a moving platform and a bowl of lava which you have to jump across from the moving platform and is constantly bouncing around can be quite ... annoying. Many players (especially older ones) only can test their luck and have a 50-50 chance to get it right.

Your sneaky way of hiding things was quite confusing, took me so long to look around for it, but when I found it I died and just opened a save therefore reducing time. The total gameplay time if I didn't open saves, probably 2-3 hours.

Nevertheless the mansion is quite enjoyable the way it is; I'm not asking you to change anything just giving you my thoughts.

It definitely was hard, but after you won, you get to brag about it on the forums with screen shots. Tongue

Overall, I really liked it.
Will look forward to more work from you.

Wingy,  You Didn't Fail !!!  You got through the mansion, so you Won!!! Smiley

Yes, aquamat's mansions can be hard and sneaky, but that's what keeps us "older" ones going !!!   Smiley

BTW; what is 'opening saves' ?!?!?   Huh

Can't wait for both you and aquaMat to make more mansions!

Thanks,

SandyBean Smiley

You know, when you get the GAME OVER screen and have to click the "Open Game" button on the menu and select your last save file.

OK, thanks Wingy, I get it now.  You go through the section, figure out what to do, maybe lose a few lives, and then open at your last save point to spare some time, already knowing where to be careful.

Thanks for explaining, I just thought this was a special way of making new save points that I had not heard of yet.
