Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Catacombs Level 7 - Room 15510
05.04.2009 at 14:24:46

Hi everyone, I have been playing MM for a couple of years now and just love it - a big thanks to all those people who have submitted custom mansions - they're great.

Okie dokie - I am stuck on level 7 in room 15510 for the hundredth darn time.... grrrrrr.... and I know other people have also had problems with the secret puzzle behind the wall in this room - but they seem to sort it out and I can't - I end up in this room with only a few lives and just cannot work out what to do!. I use all my lives up very quickly and then have to go back to the very start of the level and start all over again.

I've started the moving block at the right, have gone up and down on it, jumped everywhere (and died), tried to pull levers, hoped I catch a vine or something - but nadda!!!!

Please, please help me get outta here so I can get on with it and enjoy all the new levels that keep getting added.

Many thanks in anticipation.

OMG!!! UH DUH!!!! I cannot believe out of the 150 darn times I visited 'that' room and stood on 'that' moving platform - that I didn't do "THAT"!!!! I could've sworn I had tried absolutely everything - over and over and yet over again. Isn't hindsight (and a wonderfully coded message) a glorious thing....

Also, after I got to the end of this level I realised that I was actually playing level 8 and not 7, which explains why when I was reading posts on this room that some said level 7 and others said level 8. I think the confusion arises because when you open your saved game it says Catacombs 7 and it's not until you get to the end (finally) and you do that precious save that you realise/remember you have actually been playing level 8. I hope that helps other poor confused souls (like me) when they also get stymied by this wee gem of a puzzle!

Many ta's for replies, very much appreciated and I am happy to announce that I have moved on and am now nearly at the end of the next level (9).

One further note on this as Freddy has pointed out so many times:  The movements and actions Jack can take are in fact very few, so there are only six keys we need to try, sometimes with combinations of two (seldom three) keys and seldom press-and-hold.
