Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Completing Mansion Activity

In the original version when you completed a mansion and submitted your score for the overall best list you would be taken to a web page showing the top scores for that mansion, with the ability to switch back to the game, now you are taken to your personal high scores page within the game, you have to quit the game to see the web page with the overall high scores. I'm running the game at full screen under Lion if that makes any difference.

You don't have to quit, just hit Command + F to toggle the game to a window. Then you can see your web browser, and toggle back to full screen when you're ready.

Thanks for the quick response. Where would I have found this information  in the game?

My screen saver is activated again when I use the Command + F to shrink the size of the game window.

Vern's going to work on fixing that screen saver quirk for a future update.

Hmm, it's definitely supposed to switch to the web browser for you when you submit a high score online. You shouldn't have to push Command-F to exit. I'll look into that.

Another problem occurred after leaving my score to the high score list, after using Command-F to view the high score list, which didn't appear at first, and then showed up in a tab already used for another web site, and now the window where the high score list appeared is unresponsive, I can't open other tabs in the window, move from one tab to another and am unable to minimize the window, tried both Command+M and clicking on the yellow button in the upper left corner.  Other  windows are responding as usual. Using Safari 5.1 under OS 10.7.1.

If you restart your computer and do this again, is it repeatable? That sounds more like a Safari bug than a Midnight Mansion bug. All Midnight Mansion does is "send" a URL to Safari. How Safari handles that is up to it, and beyond my control. The only possibility here is that maybe Safari is goofing up since Midnight Mansion is still fullscreen when it "sends" the URL. So maybe changing that will help.
