A brief history of the game
At first there was Midnight Mansion, now often called MM1. This game package was for Mac only and contained 8 mansions, each on easy, normal and hard level. Above that there was a builder included, so that customers could design mansions themselves.
Then there was Midnight Mansion HD, now abbreviated as MM1 HD for both Mac and Windows. It contained the 3x8 mansions from MM1 plus 3x a bonus mansion: Tomb of Princes. All in high definition!
Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills, includes 28 mansions with a lot of new features. The 8 built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. Yes indeed, the MM2 package also has an included builder to create mansions!

Custom mansions

In the past decades several customers started experimenting with the builders. Creating rooms. Talking about it on the Midnight Mansion Forums. Sending their own designed mansions to other board members to test them. And finally sending them to the administrators of MMF.
Result? Nearly 200 extra mansions are downloadable from these boards and some of them have over 100 rooms.
If you like to download custom mansions, go to the General Custom Mansions Area (Mac and Windows) where you find the lists with all the download spots.

Grey very easy area
22.10.2012 at 03:21:29

After many months back to our Midnight Mansion game! Smiley Smiley And I did dive into my MM&M to get the feeling back.

On my power mac, I did discover a design-mistake in the rugsack maze. The mother of all mistakes: a Jack-stuck. I can fix that in this version with the included builder. But, what to do with the HD version for intel? As far as I know, I even don't have a builder ... Undecided

And besides that, I did discover an unreachable moneybag in the HD version only. Shocked So now I wonder if a mansion in the original and the HD version need to be exactly the same? What is usual?

Today I started with changing "things" in the grey area. And ... I liked it. So somewhere in future there will be a version 2.0.

Indeed it will not be version 1.5 since I do much more than fixing mistakes. E.g. making the grey area much more interesting.

Once I have the feeling that the grey area is ready, I will launch the 2.0. And then I start checking the green area for version 2.1 etc.

that's weird, I played it in HD and got all 500 000 oh no wait I seemed to have missed something like 100 but I thought that was in the end section since I got all money for all the check points... or do I remember it wrong? Where was the money bag?

Nice to see you, Freddy.  After you have made all changes, just upload MM&M as usual and let us know.  We can then convert it for the HD.

Just remember:  All levers in the HD version must be on the grid to work.
