Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Room numbers wrong in new HD version???
07.01.2015 at 01:45:48

I'm replaying all the HD CM games.  This HOW mansion is so darn hard.
Anyway, while reading the previous comments to get an ideas as how to proceed,
I've noticed that the room numbers in the comments don't match the room numbers in the HD game.  ie:

16095 - there is no rug sack there.  It's in the last room on the far right of this level.

15497 - there is no flying ramp in that room, only a moving brick which leads Jack to 15498 where there is a flying ramp.

I wonder if the transformation to HD of this game, screwed up the room numbers???
Also, try as I might, I can't get certain grey doors do allow me to access the middle
ledge on the 16095 level, close to the rug sack room on the far right of that level.

Could it be possible that upgrading to HD changed some things around???

This CM is a serious brain twister, that's for sure!

I think the ladder is broken in 16497 bcos Jack fall to his death trying to get the
1st blue key, see dead body under the ladder in question.
Getting the 2nd blue key (where Jack is standing) although the ladder is broken,
he ends up on his feet, alive, so that ladder is okay.

It isn't broken. You have to find another way for Jack to survive. I have played the mansion several times and been able to get keys and move on. Sorry I can't tell how because I forget details after I played a room.

No Rose, the issue is not that I can't find my way, it's as I've mentioned in the above post.  When the game was first released many people posted for help and I am reading those original posts and trying to match up the room numbers but something is wrong, they don't match the HD version of this game.

And there seems to be a broken ladder where Jack falls to his death, yet on the other broken ladder he doesn't.

I am right now in 16498  and trying to figure out how to get the 2 shields and the green key.  The ladders don't allow Jack to go down them at all.  I will read the old posts to see if I can glean a hint from them, however, their room numbers don't match up to this HD version.  Hmm?

I don't know about the room numbering. I do know that the ladder you talk about is as it shoud be but you can't move all the way down even if it looks like it. It is just to accept as you can't see all all problems or hidden stepping stones etc.. It is a trial and error.

The conversion of mansions to HD does not affect room numbers so if there is a mismatch people must have given the wrong number.

HOW is a hard mansion indeed.  Some of the ladders in the above room are meant to be broken so the players just have to:

1. Take good care of their Jacks so they don't fall to their death.
2. Fins another way to get the keys.
