Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

In room 13700 my Jack arrived in a most likely not wanted situation. See pic. Jumps to JS, a backpack and right of the blue door all seem possible.

Exploring the yellow section right now. Arrived in 14099.

In the starting room I still had the loss of a life when first doing a ladder jump to the left and only then one to the right (while the grey bat platform is somewhere at the left).

I think I have fixed this permanently.  I cannot kill my Jack in that room no matter how I try.

When I arrived at the save point I opened the 3rd yellow door with my rainbow key and without any key I went down the pole for the second time. To have a closer look.

Jack is supposed to have enough yellow keys at this point to make sure he does not need to use the rainbow key.  I have "fixed" this by making one yellow key more obvious.

14700 Jack may die by falling down the ladder

Fixed

14500 After the first use of the moving platform it did stop close below the ladder, followed by the reveal of a grey sinking platform below that stopped platform. Sense? The second time this way is a dead end. So back to the bottom and up in the left wing.

Fixed

Yes, I noticed.  Don't know why and don't have a fix as of yet.

Fixed - but there is still a problem regarding this room.  Say Jack opens the yellow, green or blue door with his rainbow key, then instead of exploring the area behind that door he goes back to the purple or red door.  As of now this will lead to a JS.  I will find a solution

Good morning from the Flanders while our most important international cycling event started a half  hour ago. Still 250 km to go. Van Aert, Van Der Poel and Pogacar are the major favorites.

Downloaded 005 this morning and like to do an interim report.

13699 It is still possible do die in this room although I can't repeat it, what may be enough. It has to do with the upper sinking platform where in rare circumstances it goes wrong. On the image you will see that Jack made a move to the right.

14700 Here is the situation different. See the two dead bodies. It is easy to repeat: a drop from the ladder and a slight move to the left. Jack dies between the small sinking platforms.

14299 This room has three problems. See image.
- Jack was in the upper left corner and stood on the spot of the open grey door. There he made a jump to the right 'over' the closed grey door and died. I assume he must have hit the top edge of that half door.
- Jack reappeared in the lower right corner and lost 6 lives.
- With only two lives Jack left the room with the ladder down and after returning he still had no way to go.
Sad

As before my Jack first went to the yellow area. In his first attempt he arrived with one rainbow and two yellow keys in the room with two yellow doors. He opened the right one, noticed that there doesn't seem to be a third yellow door anymore and jumped on the platform to arrive in the room above. A little bit of oops because he now had to go down and up again to be able to open the yellow door at the left. During the climbing up Jack was again taken by surprise in room 14299 with plural deaths and a Jack-stuck to complete the misery.

The second time everything went smoothly and Jack could make his first save with $ 5.750 and 2 found secrets.

In room 14695 there was something green behind the sign. Was that the knot of a (working) lever?

Next area was the purple one where Jack didn't miss the secret backpack and the reminder to play The Pirate Invasion. Wink

In the dark room 13299 Jack died in the upper left corner. Just by walking to the left of the vine, where walking to the right of course is obvious.

In room 13300 it seemed possible to jump into the large birdcage. HJS and when repeated JS.

After a second save he arrived back in ... the transit room Cheesy and is ready to continue (clockwise) through the red door.

It really seems so. On his way back up Jack got stuck between two grey doors (see pic).  Out of own recent experiences in BNW some rooms seems to be doomed. What means that each fixing leads to an other problem ...  Cry

In room 13300 my Jack succeeded in sending up the grey bat platform while self staying down (see pic).

In room 13701 Jack may jump onto the solid part of the red bricks while touching the sinking platform with his toes. That send the platform down and when he then steps to the right he dies (see pic).

When Jack re-enters transit room 13700 after the red section, not on the top floor but on the hidden floor right above the blue door, he dies by walking to the left. Dead body laying left of the green door.
