Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Twisted ladder question
21.09.2007 at 19:09:35

Jack saw on the map that it was a black hole he had to "excavate". After many tries and frustration he finally found his way to room 30501. it seems the twisted ladder is the only way out and he can't figure out how to climb it. He has looked at the map but can't find an alternative route! HELP! Hint, please!

I am not at home so I can't look at the map right now.  Rose, you are in the "hidden" cabins section, right?  The twisted ladder is a red herring.  There is another way out of this section.  Have you gone as deep down in the ship as possible in this section?

Dear brell,

as you might have guessed from my earlier remarks.... I have the same problem as rose. Even though I found out pretty fast (thru 3 painful deaths) that the "twisted ladder" was a red herring, I still couldn't find another way out. And believe me: I have searched the central section (with the long ladder) plus all rooms around it, over and over again.

At the moment I have paused playing / trying (out of sheer frustration).

Judged by your answer to Rose it must be somewhere deep down... but I'm pretty sure I was as deep as it's possible.

Or not ???!!!      Roll Eyes   Shocked   Undecided   Cry

Deepest point in THAT section is the room with oh-my-god-all-those-coloured-doors. Wink And in that not so difficult bottom-area is IMO a clear hint about where to continue. But the path AFTER the hint is stunning! Cool

I am more persistent and have died 3x17 times at least, but I have also looked for other ways out.
Yep I am in the hidden section and have been to the bottom but not after reaching the twisted ladder

It would have been fun if Jack had been able to climb it though Smiley

We (I and JAck) are off to the bottom! See you!

P.S. I never got any notification from this thread eventhough I was the one to start it. I have been waiting and waiting!!! Finally I went to the board and saw that there were replies!!! Where do we report bugs like this???
