Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

I have the same problem that Jenniferific did. You asked her:
1° How many keys did you have, when coming back from # 16495 to # 16696?
2° After you went to # 16497 etc., how many keys did you have when you were back in # 16696?
If I know those answers maybe I can help you.

I had 8 keys coming back from 16495 to 16696
I had 7 keys coming back from 16497 etc. Did I miss a key there?
If so, it must be purple because that's what I need to continue in 16696.
I can go on down the pole but then I can't find a way back to 16696.
Help!

Thanks, Nancy

1° Perfect.  Smiley
2° You are missing the 8th key, but I can't confirm that it should be a purple one. Lips Sealed
3° The door puzzle in # 16696 is a very complex and an extremely tough one. But it is also built in a way that it is ALWAYS possible to continue pole-down at any time, when one is out of ideas (or keys). The challenge is, of course, to find "everything" before going down. Compare it with the previous problem, where you need to find the rugsack to be able to take EIGHT keys with you. But without the rugsack, there wasn't a Jack-stuck.

Good luck!

OK I have searched for the key that I am missing to no avail. I did
the save in 16499 and found the green key there. I come back to
16696 with 3 blue keys, 2 green keys and 2 red keys. Can you give me a hint
which room the key I am missing is in? Otherwise, I can go down the pole in
16696 and solve the rooms with blue and green keys and end up with several
red keys, but I can't find my way back to continue 16696. Help please!

In my usual way, after I asked, I found it!
Thanks for being patient with me.

OK how about a hint for Midas's Lab? I found 5 keys,
can get 4 of them but still can't find a way to the 2nd
green key. I've been to the save room from above,
and to room 16689, but can't find a way to continue.

Thanks, Nancy
