Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

I opened all doors and finished HoW

Well, hurrah to you too..... Wink Cheesy

I played HoW so often (it's the one mansion with the most saved games in my "Saves" folder, all save points several time (with added letters to keep them apart B1, G 2 etc.)), and at that "oh-my-god-room" I always became a little better.... and I loved getting nearer to the right procedure etc. .....  except when at one stage I didn't seem to make any further improvement, no matter how hard I tried....  until it got to the point where I simply lost the patience....and I stopped trying.

That might be my weak point.... not enough patience...I don't know. However, I always felt puzzles should be hard enough to be interesting, but not so hard that 100 plays are needed until you eventually find it out.
(But thoroughly admired Freddy's construction, even if I never mastered it completely.)

And I bet, there are other plaers who might find it out sooner.

Brell, how long did it take you ?  (Please, don't tell me: 2 trials   Cheesy   Grin )

I've never been able to figure it out, either. I've explored different areas at different times, but I haven't figured out how to see the whole mansion. Hats off to those that have!

I'm like you, aquaMat. I lose patience and put it away for awhile, then go back to it. I love the mansion, it's great fun, but quite a puzzle.

And really no matter of luck. Pure deduction, which needs a lot af patience (I know), helps you to solve this braintwister. But like whitbear8 said: HoW contains completely uncommon obstacles in comparison with (all?) other mansions.

HoW was of course never supposed to be the start of a new MM-fashion! Oh no ... Roll Eyes

Time. What a funny subject to talk about in the
House of Wonders
.

I can reach the exit door in 5 to 10 minutes. But after having seen almost nothing from the mansion. And it has nearly 150 rooms. So why looking for the shorttrack? Cool

Yay! I finished! Victory is (kinda) mine.

Just out of curiousity, how do you know how if you found all or most of the mansions rooms/secrets?

After entering the exit door, didn't you see how many % secrets you found? And If you remember how many secrets you had at the finish, a small calculation ...
