A brief history of the game
At first there was Midnight Mansion, now often called MM1. This game package was for Mac only and contained 8 mansions, each on easy, normal and hard level. Above that there was a builder included, so that customers could design mansions themselves.
Then there was Midnight Mansion HD, now abbreviated as MM1 HD for both Mac and Windows. It contained the 3x8 mansions from MM1 plus 3x a bonus mansion: Tomb of Princes. All in high definition!
Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills, includes 28 mansions with a lot of new features. The 8 built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. Yes indeed, the MM2 package also has an included builder to create mansions!

Custom mansions

In the past decades several customers started experimenting with the builders. Creating rooms. Talking about it on the Midnight Mansion Forums. Sending their own designed mansions to other board members to test them. And finally sending them to the administrators of MMF.
Result? Nearly 200 extra mansions are downloadable from these boards and some of them have over 100 rooms.
If you like to download custom mansions, go to the General Custom Mansions Area (Mac and Windows) where you find the lists with all the download spots.

Hi Missy,

glad to see you playing my first designing...

I am sure you already guessed how to get the ladder, jumping from the gold/silver blocks (operating lever at the same time) in a staggered arrangement, then disapearing-brick, then ladder.

BUT...

Success depends of the positionning you're taking up, when you operate the lever. Jump length will be different, according you pull the lever from left or from right!...
So... anticipating your jumps, place the levers in good position first, re-activate golden blocks (bottom lever), then make your way to the ladder (w/o re-entering the room!).
I can say that, looking at your capture, you are not in a good way to operate properly the lever of the silver brick which you are standing on!
Secret hint: Wink
Pull the lever making your back facing destination block.
Smiley
Or if you prefer: Wink
Positionning your levers, think of "backward" jumps.
Smiley
Hope this helps, tell me if you need more.

PS Does my gif Homer Malone move properly? Smiley

I deleted my posts as I figured out how to get to the top bricks in that area by using the moving ramp (I forgot what its called) so, how did you see my posts when I removed them?

Surcouf answered your post before you removed it.  This means that readers have an answer to a deleted question.  That is very confusing.  Please refrain from deleting your posts unless they contain inappropriate material.  Instead you can modify them or add a new post if you find something out that you have asked about

Remember that a question and it's answer can help somebody else.

Hi Surcouf,

Oh, I see, you mean the pic under your name.....yes, the little guy is auditioning for the gymnastics in the Olympics....he's all over the map.  hee, hee.

Is there another hidden room like the save room?  I am jumping all over the place and can't figure out the last 40+ secrets?  Very perplexing.  I JUST LOVE THE WARRIOR DESIGN, VERY, VERY, CREATIVE.  Pls. give me a clue to the other 40+ secrets.  Please, pretty please with sugar on top.

Hi Brell,

I thought that I was doing good by removing a post when I found the answer myself.    But, I will do as you ask.

Hmm...  That is a BIG difference.  Surcouf, are you sure that the secret count is correct in Mansion info in the MM builder?
