Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

What a relief....... WE'RE BACK !  Hacker-attack ?
30.12.2008 at 17:51:11

Hi,

yesterday it looked as we have been the victim of a vicous hacker-attack.
Instead of the Action Soft / MM - related pages appeared an Arab-looking hacker site !

What the f.... was that ?!

I don't know who solved it....but sure somebody did ?!

MAYBE it was only a warning and the hackers re-did it themselves, because I remember the pages' name included the word "hackteach", as in:
"We're gonna teach you that we can knock you down any second...."

What a world.....   Cool    Cry

Hi!
I am also glad we are back. I wonder if Vern is aware of the attack?

I thought it was a school for hackers  Grin

Seriously though, I can see why the recent bombings in Gaza would upset people, but that has nothing to do with Midnight Mansion. Why attack here??

Clearly, idiots come in every flavor.

I took a screenshot of it, anybody read Arabic?

No, I don't read arabic, so the hacking has just annoyed me and haven't been able to do anything positive.

I do sympathise with both sides so both sides should end their violence.  Angry Angry

I hope for a much calmer and happier New Year for everyone, even the hackers!!

I did a Google translation on the site. The one URL was an arabic forum. Ironic huh that they took over our MM forum. And if you went to the main ActionSoft URL, the URL they had was very much in your face and to the point on their feelings.

I am also relieved to have MM forums back.  Grin

Scary stuff.  Angry

I'm glad we got MM back so quickly, I was afraid it was going to be much longer.

Happy New Year, and Peace!

The forum is back..... but I still do have problems opening it sometimes.

When I hit my direct link (to the last 30 posts) it normally takes about 3 seconds for the MM page to load. In the last few days it often "loads" for more than 4 minutes and sometimes still not opens.

An hour later it might work almost normal again.
I don't get it.

This must not be related to the hacker-attack.... but I never experienced this phenomenon before the attack.   Tongue    Cry

Hi -

Do you use Safari as your browser?  If so the latest update included a Fraudulent sites option in the Advanced settings.  If this is ticked then some sites won't load/take ages to load and I unticked mine because of this.  Obviously MM is not a fraudulent site, but it might add time to the load as the page is being checked?

Yes, I use Safari.
But now that you mention it...... I updated to a later version of Safari last week (now I use 3.2.1) and I will check the setting you mentioned. (I have never seen this in earlier versions).

Maybe that's the reason, and I should also uncheck this option ?!

However, what if a really "fraudulent site" comes along......  Angry

Matari, the option was indeed ticked !!
I really have never noticed this before......   and I'm still a little unsure if I should really uncheck this...... but maybe I'll at least give it a try, next time the forum won't load.

Thanks for the tip !
