Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Help! Room 17103 in Small Palace of Gore
01.03.2009 at 07:29:13

Aquamat:  While patiently waiting for Les Catacombes Rouges I was happy to find two of your other mansions I never completed. Finally made it through Palace of Gore and it is now one of my favorites.  Loved that mansion (though the name is rather gory.)  Grin Since my score was only 66% I will have the pleasure of playing it again.  I'm currently trying to complete Small Palace of Gore and can't get out of Room 17103 after pulling the lever in 17104.  I've been jumping around behind the black partitions forever.  Hint?

Hi Jackie!
You need to do some more jumping and holding down several keys. Eventually you'll get where you want to go!

I just finished the mansion with only Angry Angry 57% secrets. I need to play this one again! Smiley

Rose:  Thanks for your suggestion but I'm about ready to give up.  For two days I've been jumping around and trying to get out of Rm. 17103. I assume Jack is to go down and to the left behind a partition in order to get to the bottom part of Room 17102.  I'm not sure what you mean by holding down
severa
l keys.  Apparently pulling the lever in 17104, changing the blocks from silver to gold, isn't helpful at this point. ?

No, pulling the lever is for room 17101.

When I hold several keys I press the jump key, up key and walking key at the same time. walking  key changes pf course depending which direction you want to go.

Try it and see what happens

Actually, Jackie, it is perfectly possible to get out of this "dark room" without that "holding-down-several-keys-at-once" routine....at least I never do it.
(It is possible that it helps, though).

The solution to that room lies in 2 things:

1. Do it as the blind: if one sense fails /in this case because the room is dark) use the other senses more, especially your ears !!

2. Use the right combination of jumps and walking to get higher and higher behind the dark.

And - forget the room next door.... the solution lies ONLY within the dark room !!   Cool

Just another way to say it! Same result

Thanks to Rose and Aquamat for helping me get through Rm. 17103.  It was very useful to know I should be going back up rather than to the left or down.  I left it alone for a day or so and tried again.  I did make it through only to find that I had to go back to Rm. 17104 to pull on the lever.  Not to worry.  I got out again.  But, my score was even lower than Rose's, so I'll tackle it again since no new mansions have appeared for awhile.
