Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Wingy,

How many brothers and sisters wear the same thing?

Here's an animation based on a red haired Jill at the correct size, 64X64. Since it's in Flash format you need to shrink the browser window to see it without pixellation.

She does seem a little ill-equipped for tomb raiding. She's got more of a cat burglar thing going. Part of what makes Jack so likable is that he's kind of dumpy and dorky. If his sister is too sexy, she'll just be another silly video game bombshell on an extreme mission for marketable awesomeness. I'd at least give her giant glasses.

The run animation looks fantastic, though.

Yes. We need a "sister" that wants to carry a rugsack!

Point taken Psychotronic....

I've been searching the boards for the software I'm using, DAZ3D for morphs that will allow me to make her shorter and dumpier and definitely LESS sexy.
FYI Daz3D uses geometric meshes to create and animate meshes. Jill is actually the free character mesh AIKO3. Morphs are modifications that can be done to the meshes. Several of the other character meshes have really nice morphs that allow you to scale there bodies to dumpy or fat or skinny or emaciated, etc. What I'm proud of with the animation is the smoothness of the motion. When I get Jills body right I can apply the transforms to that body. By the way I did the transforms in Poser 6 walk designer.

Which brings up another point. I've got a very spiffy backpack mesh which I'd like to use with her but there's no way to change to a set of graphics that have or don't have a backpack.

Joe,

Have you seen Zbrush? It may not be suitable for your Jill character but something you may be interested in further down the road. It's like...sculpting in 3d...with pixels. Here are some links if you're interested:

Wow, that app. looks impressive! But I don't think Joe would want to spend $500 just to get a good Jill!  Wink

Thanks Scout. I already have it around somewhere on a machine. With my MacBookPro I'm up to 10 machines (11 if you count the Mac 512Ke that I occasionally start just to make sure it still works). 6 Macs, 4 Windows. Like most of the software I have I use it for specific things, MM not being one of them.
But thanks for the thought!!!
