Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Wingy, how about giving Tim a forummember access?  You can always help him to write his posts.

My comments?  A very nice first mansion for a 5 years old!

Quite a colourful mansion to say the least. At least you don't run short of money  Wink

I believe I spotted a Jack-Stuck (or I just couldn't find the way out) in that room with a most intriguing BBB message... Can't remember the exact wording, but it was something like: "do you have cake on your head?" Does that mean anything which eludes me? Shocked

Just two "constructive" comments:

It makes no sense of supplying so many money bags that Jack is getting 120 new lives or so...'cause the game can handle only up to 99 lives !!  After that it starts to count from zero again.... so after the room with the zillion money bags one is given like 120 new lives, but in reality ends up with only 20 !!

Apart from that: I experienced a lethal JS in room 16110, while playing for the second time. I don't know how it happened, but you're given so many keys, including several multicolored ones....and you have no say what key is used for which door....
However, I ended up in front of the last BLUE door, with only 1 purple key left !  Apparently the earlier purple door had been opened by a multicolored key, and in the end I was missing a multicolored (or blue?) key for the final blue door.

Had to abort the game !

This didn't happen when I played that section for the first time. Maybe I just picked up the keys in a different order....but you don't have much control over that, have you?

BTW...... these and my above remarks are only meant as "positive criticism" not negative....  It was ALWAYS intended to be constructive.....

Someone else said, 'cause the player is given so many lives it doesn't really matter that there are a few unaligned rooms / floors.... well although that might be true I don't think that this is reason enough not to fix it. Just imagine: when you teach your brother those things now, how good will be his next mansion?  Imagine how good a designer he might become in a few years time ?!  Why not give him the good and helpful advices now already ?

I'll pass your comment on to him.
And... my dad doesn't let anyone under like 10 in our family to have internet access... so I guess he can't...

...yea, he's got quite imaginative mind...

But this is not an offical mansion. Just a test of his. I'm afraid he's not letting anyone make any updates, he says the current way of the mansion is his little special way...

But he probably will be making another mansion (with my help maybe) but I'm not sure if where it will be on the mansion list...

There will not be another update, so you can... you know, stop reporting JS and errors, everyone! Smiley

And he has every right to his little special way in an unofficially listed mansion  Smiley

Then I will, as a player, try not to get my Jack stuck  Grin

Oh and by the way: Tim is a rather good MM player, he's beaten easy mode serval times. He's half way beating through normal now! He won't try hard mode until he's my age if he keeps ontop of MM!

Many months ago, during the building process of
Midnight Mazes and Monsters
, I asked Vern if it was possible to give the numbers of lives left THREE characters. But that didn't seem easy to change. Cry But it is what it is. And that means: a minor problem. In your example you really have 120 lives left, so you don't need to worry. Wink
