Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

This is so weird! I'll download the latest version and try playing it on a different computer to see if this happens.

SandyBean- I hope your puppy is OK  Kiss

I am speaking of the brown block that lifts you from the upper landing to the next level in 15488   ; the hidden white block that lifts you to the next level in 15095; and the horizontally moving block next the vine in 14692.  Each of these appears and moves once and once only, when triggered, unless you leave the room; but when you re-enter it is impossible (not difficult - impossible) to get to the already-moving block in time for its once-daily departure.   Undecided

I checked in the level builder.  In 15095 and 14692 the T reveals the moving blocks, which are moving from the start.  The action is permanent, which means that even if Jack leaves the room and returns, the blocks will reappear and immediately move in the chosen direction.  I cannot see anything malfunctioning in these rooms.

In room 15488, on the other hand, the T activates the moving block, which was there from beginning but not moving.  There are two solutions:  1. Change the T from actvating to revealing and change the moving block to moveing from start.  2. Move the T slightly to the right.

Thanks Brell for checking in the builder !  The brown floor coloured block in 15488 is designed so Jack will have to re-enter the room...there is more than one way for our curious Jacks !

I have downloaded again the mansion from here, and All works well for me in builder, and I'm just having a spare moment to start in game mode.  Only at save #2, but so far so good, all moving blocks working as designed in play mode.

But, Mapman, one of the beta testers for AYS, suggested for folks to check that they are using the latest version of MM2 (1.0.2b).  If they aren't that might explain some of the anomalies.  Thanks so much Mapman for thinking of this !

Please post feedback of how things are going, and I'm soooo hoping to get this figured out, I may be biased, but from the mansion's three beta testers, I've heard that it's a great mansion to play.  I've also had feedback from some that the problem has disappeared, so very curious situation  Huh

Alas, I have to go tend to the puppy again, Murphy is way more demanding than any patient I ever had as a nurse !  Sending along a pic of yesterday's torture I put him through so I could complete the ramp he needs for going outside to do his business !  The poodle in the foreground is his energetic 'sister' Shasta !

Thanks so much guys,

SandyBean Smiley
