The forums are run by three administrators. Read here who they are and what you may (and may not) expect from them.

A brief history of the game
At first there was Midnight Mansion, now often called MM1. This game package was for Mac only and contained 8 mansions, each on easy, normal and hard level. Above that there was a builder included, so that customers could design mansions themselves.
Then there was Midnight Mansion HD, now abbreviated as MM1 HD for both Mac and Windows. It contained the 3x8 mansions from MM1 plus 3x a bonus mansion: Tomb of Princes. All in high definition!
Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills, includes 28 mansions with a lot of new features. The 8 built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. Yes indeed, the MM2 package also has an included builder to create mansions!

Custom mansions

In the past decades several customers started experimenting with the builders. Creating rooms. Talking about it on the Midnight Mansion Forums. Sending their own designed mansions to other board members to test them. And finally sending them to the administrators of MMF.
Result? Nearly 200 extra mansions are downloadable from these boards and some of them have over 100 rooms.
If you like to download custom mansions, go to the General Custom Mansions Area (Mac and Windows) where you find the lists with all the download spots.

Ok so its Sunday morning right now, and really cold but sunny, and it looks like only one person entered the contest!  Grin So I guess Rose wins! I'm going to release Midnight Pyramid 1.0 once I put rose's name up.  Wink

(About in 2 hours!)

When I do that, I'll send a copy to Freddy and Brell by e-mail and put an attachment in Custom Mansion Area/Free up- & Downloading.

Just wait 2 hours then you can explore a all-new mansion!  Cheesy

I agree that this room with all platforms is a bit  Undecided tricky to say the least. Well I lost all my Jacks there and it looks like you need a heap of luck to get through... Good thing there's a saving point just before! Bad thing I used it too early  Cheesy  (Not to mention that you can lose a Jack by the lava upstairs).

Actually I wanted to report a Jack-Stuck (no comment please Freddy  Wink) That's in rooms 16507 / 16508. What happened to me was: I closed the grey door upstairs, left the room, reentered almost immediately and got cheap-killed by the bird; then I reappeared in this same left room but downstairs. Then I found it impossible to get back on the normal way (out of the right room)!

Of course another more canonical way to reappear downstairs would appear to be: close grey door, step on snake

Apart. from these, very good mansion with entertaining challenges and neat designs -- Congratulations Wingy  Smiley

To tell you the truth, that room I've never gotten through it alive IN the game. Only in the editor while I was making Volcanis!  Wink
I think it would be very challanging for everyone.
You can't just beat like its easy!  Cheesy

I finally finished the mansion Smiley

I must confess I, um, redesigned slightly one of the rooms Huh Otherwise the mansion was great, my favourite puzzle being the one where you have to activate a lever while jumping over a scorpion pit (after the top left red door in the end, I think).

Also, I ended up with 110% secrets.

Uh oh... Time for another update! So eh... how many secrets are there in total? I forgot... Press Command + D once you're done the mansion. (Like right before you enter the big-dark door.)

PM when you know.  Wink
