Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills,  includes 28 mansions. The 8 Built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. We don't have that many other custom MM2 mansions yet. Design your own custom mansion! Info below.  You can find out more about the game here.

The original Midnight Mansion game contains over 150 mansions. The 8 included mansions which have 3 difficulty levels each, and about 115 approved custom mansions which you can download here and also several freely uploaded mansions. To know the difference between these three types of mansions, click here.

Are you a creative person and thinking of designing a mansion yourself? Or want to know about how to upload it? Click here and we'll show you! You'll find guidelines for betatesters here.

News:
Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills version 1.0.2b has been released. This fixes a bug in Jasperlone Mountains Hard. Simply re-download the game, bring over your custom mansions folder from the old version and play on. All your saves and high scores will not be changed.

Midnight Mansion HD (MM1) is now available at the Mac App Store and at the Actionsoft website. A Windows version is now available.

Here is a list of downloadable MM1 HD ready custom mansions, which also work in the Windows version of the game.

The MM2 custom mansion Hanging Gardens of Babylon by Freddy/SandyBean/Josephine/brell was updated on 19. Nov 2023 to add a fourth section. Available here

Room 15903 (help !)
02.09.2007 at 18:27:31

I'm stuck! When I get to 15903, I have one red key. When I open the secret door, I pick up a blue key and another red key, still leaving me with one red key. That's enough to get me through the first normal door, but not the second. Am I missing a red key somewhere else in the mansion? I've found them in 15702 and 16702.

I wouldn't normally ask but I've played section 4 around 20 times now and it's getting frustrating Embarrassed

Hi whitbear8,

SPOILER ALERT!!!!  I can't seem to get the unreadable yellow text anymore which we used to do for hints, so I'm warning that there's a specific hint below.

EDIT by Freddy:
Below, there is really some text which is now white. You just need to highlight it, to be able to read the hint.

When you're in Room 15903, did you get the red key sitting on the middle level? It's possible to get that key without climbing up to that level.

I am not sure if you have had any help with this yet or not, but if not, I am sorry we missed it.

Go back down three rooms, and look in the ceiling.  There you will find a surprise!

Hope this helps,

SandyBean Smiley

Hi - I cannot get that final red key - I go up the broken ladder and jump to try and get, but I just cannot.  Any hints please?  For example, how to manipulate the controls so I can get the key?  I do find this kind of thing frustrating - it takes away enjoyment of the game. Angry

Matari, when you jump off the ladder, are you holding down the Up arrow and the Right arrow at the same time?

Hi

Yes I am - and i just can't reach it. Perhaps my keyboard just can't give me the distance.  Very frustrating.

Hmmm, that is strange. Well, as a last resort, you could use a cheat. Hit the Esc key to pause the game, then type "gimmie red" and you'll get a red key. I know you don't want to do that, but if that's the only way you can continue...

Matari, are you really meaning room 15903?? Because I can't see any broken ladder there.

Yes - i went up the ladder to the room, went left to get two keys and then had enough keys to open all the doors apart from the last red one.  Then to get the final red one i had to climb what i think is an invisible broken ladder - or a bit of a ladder and jump to my right, but high enough to get the red key.  it is this jump that i just can't do.
