A brief history of the game
At first there was Midnight Mansion, now often called MM1. This game package was for Mac only and contained 8 mansions, each on easy, normal and hard level. Above that there was a builder included, so that customers could design mansions themselves.
Then there was Midnight Mansion HD, now abbreviated as MM1 HD for both Mac and Windows. It contained the 3x8 mansions from MM1 plus 3x a bonus mansion: Tomb of Princes. All in high definition!
Actionsoft's latest game, Midnight Mansion 2: The Haunted Hills, includes 28 mansions with a lot of new features. The 8 built-in mansions have 3 difficulties along with 4 extra custom mansions. Yes indeed, the MM2 package also has an included builder to create mansions!

Custom mansions

In the past decades several customers started experimenting with the builders. Creating rooms. Talking about it on the Midnight Mansion Forums. Sending their own designed mansions to other board members to test them. And finally sending them to the administrators of MMF.
Result? Nearly 200 extra mansions are downloadable from these boards and some of them have over 100 rooms.
If you like to download custom mansions, go to the General Custom Mansions Area (Mac and Windows) where you find the lists with all the download spots.

Tomb of Princes Easy Secrets
03.11.2011 at 11:13:41

After playing  ToP Easy, probably at least 20 times, I still end of with the same number of secrets 10 of possible 13.  Not trying to give things away, but I have found the secrets in Rms  (all starting with 15) and in no particular order: 902,695,495,689,292,696,494,891,494, and 098.  If anyone can PM me with some hints that would be great.  I have been jumping into walls, trying to find hidden ladders, etc with no luck.  Thanks.

I am a kind of Newbie  Cool Wink and experience the same so far. Two attempts left me with 10 out of 13 secrets and $ 600 missing.

But I will never give up. Unless Vern did change anything to this mansion, it MUST be possible to find everything, since others could. So it is only a matter of time. And patience. And more patience ...  Cheesy

Oh, and keep plugging away for those secrets. Some of them are well hidden. Obviously.  Roll Eyes

Hmm... it seems that the old timers have totally stolen miltrump's thread - just because a beerdrinker from Brugge suddenly turns up!  Cool

Very nice to see you again, my dear friend.  Smiley

Thanks for all your nice words!! Smiley

Previous month I bought a new iMac. And probably that was the trigger that brought me (already a little bit) back. Only as a player so far. And a little bit visiting MMF.

It felt as a good idea to start with installing the HD version of MM and play those mansions first. I did put myself back on the MM world map with a #1 place on the high score list of Falcon Manor easy. Tongue Not that playing fast is important. But it is a way to get the game back in the fingers.

Now to stay to topic, and to avoid that the admins move my post Grin, I announce that right now I do visit ToP easy again. Who searches will find!!

But, Freddy, you ARE still one of the admins  so you can remove your own posts yourself  Wink

I just replayed ToP easy again and got 10 secrets (=76%).

My Jack arrived at the first saving spot, with nothing new found so far.

So my question (e.g. to Semi-Native) is: are the other three secrets hinted? At least a little bit.

I think I know 2 of the ones you're missing, and they are slightly hinted. I don't know about the 3rd one.

All I can say is that Jack should jump everywhere and of course, try walking through walls.

miltrump, did you ever find all the secrets?
Cool

There is one secret at least before the first saving point. And there are 6 in the next section, two very well hidden. It took me quite awhile before I found those.
